Sending the wrong message
I seem to be sending the wrong message with my last post. I am NOT UPSET IN THE LEAST. I was surprised at first and registered a brief moment of panicky concern, but then I realized that that reaction was uncalled for and that having a reader (if (s)he does become a regular) close by could be fun. Do none of you READ THROUGH TO THE END??? (By the way, kettle, you're black.) Note to self: make writing more interesting. People are drifting away in the middle.

I got you - especially when you talked about doing lunch. But you did seem hesitant at the beginning, so I just commented how I would look at it.
Ha! Although not necessary. At least I didn't think so.
Did she/he email you?
It wasn't me, but I wish it was. I would love to have lunch with you! (And friend of mine and I have the same IP address doing the same thing to our blogs and we're a little paranoid it may be someone who doesn't like us.)
I did read through to the end---but the spirit of the post was kind of panicky. Like, "OMG MY PRIVACY!!!" The last sentences sounded more like you were trying to be casual about something you were actually feeling kind of upset and rattled about.
